Here at the SPCA of Winchester, Frederick and Clarke, the pandemic has only renewed our professional commitment to homeless animals in our community.

We are growing programs, experiencing increased adoptions, and keeping loved animals in their homes.

With the cancelation of large scale events and a reduction in revenue, we remind you that we still have bricks available for adoption in front of the SPCA Rockaplenty Adoption Center located at 111 Featherbed Lane in Winchester, VA.

If you can’t adopt a pet, adopt a brick. Brick by brick we can work together to save lives.

In 2012, the SPCA made a public declaration and announced their commitment to save the life of every adoptable animal. By 2014, they saved 90% of the animals entrusted to their care. Today, those lifesaving efforts continue. In 2019, the shelter ended the calendar year with a 98% live release rate.

Please consider adopting a brick to honor your commitment to homeless animals and help the SPCA continue our life-saving efforts. You may purchase a brick in honor or memory of an animal lover or special pet that has impacted your life.

A Brick by Brick order form can be downloaded here.

On behalf of the homeless animals in our community, we thank you.
